Torquay

Torquay is renowned as being the English Rivera because of its naturally mild climate, higher than average temperatures and sunshine hours. 

It  provides the attractions of a seaside resort , beautiful marina with harbourside cafe's and restaurants, live theatre and excellent shopping centre. From the marina you can a ferry trip on the Western Lady across the bay to Brixham, running regularly  throughout the day taking around 25 minutes for the crossing.

Paington

Paington is another popular sea side resort.  It has an extensive sandy beach that stretches the coast line to meet Torquay, with a large pleasure pier with arcades and hot doughnuts. 

Their is also the famous Paignton Green left to the local people by the Singer family.

Paignton Zoo

The zoo is one of the main attractions of Paignton. It boasts being one of the largest in the country with a very natural feel to it with spacious enviromentally controlled enclosures rather than cages. The zoo houses a large collection of wild animals and birds from around the world.

The beautiful botanical gardens extend over 75 acres with sub tropical plants  and foliage. In all a memorable day out !.

Brixham

Brixham has remained a fishing village at heart with its trawlers providing the main industry to the little town.

The quayside is lined with cafe's and restaurants where you can sample the delight of the wonderful catches of the day. Also docked at the quayside  is the infamous Golden Hind a pirate ship open to explore.
